I think it’s really important to use proper SPF on your skin, especially your face. Sun exposure and all the toxins in the air damage the skin. One might not see anything just yet, but in a couple of years the skin will thank us.
I love the SUPER CITY BLOCK 40 from Clinique. It’s oil free and great as a base for makeup.
These are pictures from my very first photo shoot back when I was 16. It’s what kinda got me started:)!
I make a plan like this every day for the next day. I’m a little control freak. I always have millions of things to do and if I don’t organize my stuff, I tend to forget things. It’s also great if you are on a diet, to plan ahead what you are going to eat. Especially when you have a stressful day ahead. So you know what you are going to eat and you can prepare it the day before if needed.
What the diet plan looked like:
Strawberries and Cottage Cheese
Slice 45 kcal bread with Almond Butter and Cinnamon
Orange Juice with the Juice of half a grapefruit
Omelett with spinach, mushrooms and cheese
2 rice cakes
Mozzarelle light string cheese
Veggies (string beans, broccoli, spinach, tomato, zucchini, bell pepper)
I went hiking today at Runyon Canyon. I love the view over LA and the nature. It’s definitely one of my favorite things to do in LA.

I looooooove juice cleansing! I do it every saturday. The effect is amazing, especially on the day after. My skin looks better, I feel energized, it just makes me feel good.
I used to buy my juices at the Pressed Juicery but since I am saving money right now I started buying the Evolution fresh juices from Whole Foods. They are about half the price and taste equally good!
I always go from high carb to low carb. So I start my day off with the Super Green which mainly consists of fruits. The next one is the Organic one which is Vegetables with just some fruits. Last but not least I have either the Sweet Greens and Lemon or just the Sweet Greens one. This is just greens with a hint of lemon/lime.
I think there are not many other places where it is this important how you look. The scale and the weight are constantly looming somewhere in the back of people’s minds. Hollywood is all about looks and stuff and since I live here, I’ve spent what feels like ages to figure out how people really eat around here to maintain their awesome bodies. I talked to nutritionists, personal trainers, actors, celebrities, etc. in the hope to get a clearer picture. It comes down to being as simple as it can be. Eat everything in moderation, don’t deprive yourself from anything.
But also be very conscious about what you eat. Don’t deprive yourself doesn’t mean eat all the things every day. Have one cheat day per week to make it easier to eat healthy for the rest of the week. The harder part is probably the eat healthy one anyway. Eat tons of veggies and fruits. Nuts and the likes are a great source of protein. Eat whole grains. Never skip breakfast. Eat 4 to 5 times a day depending on your schedule. Eating more smaller meals keeps you from getting to hungry and prevents you from ‘snapping’ and binging as a result. It also keeps the metabolism going.
I will try to put my daily diet on my blog. I’m currently trying to lose 30 lbs so this is for weight loss, not maintaining!!!
